Our Team

Our team specialises in conducting customised programs for additional needs and specialise learning for children and young adults. We do professional development for educator and teachers and provide home-based training for parents and care-givers to manage and improve engagement with young children and teenagers, especially those with challenges in learning.

If you need further information on our program in specialised additional needs, education support and early childhood intervention techniques and methods. We are here to assist you to manage young children having difficulties in their learning, daily activities and interactions with peers.

We are committed to work with young children and teenagers with additional needs to focus and act on improving their senses to overcome challenges in learning.

Gurmit has more than 28 years of experience in the education industry as a lecturer, trainer and special education teacher. She has worked with students from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds with range of intellectual, physical and emotional disabilities in Australia and Singapore.

A recipent of the “Outstanding Special Needs Educator Award”, Gurmit is a dedicated, passionate and motivated individual. She empowers and commits to guiding her students to reach their fullest potential by developing their self-confidence, independence and a sense of well being. Her sessions are throughly engaging,  carefully developed programs and lessons suited for learning activities in different educational and social settings.

Gurmit leads the support team at BVC Support (a registered disability service provider with the NDIS) and manages all aspects of activities and learning programes with children and teenagers at CORNERS.

She supports open interaction and communication with parents, volunteers, therapists, counsellors and other organisations to ensure that programs and learning experiences planned for each student are beneficial to their personal growth and development.

As a teacher trainer, Gurmit guides and mentors new teachers and teacher assistants to share their passion and potential for teaching.
